True. It's a different world today. I can understand when you're married or engaged. I like to be a decent human being through other acts of valor but specifically walking a girl to her front door is just cheesy. Every girl now-a-days has a mentality that men just want to get into their pants. More than half the time it's true so I don't blame them.

It is on both sides of the fence. I have gotten chewed out by a women for opening the door for her. :shocked: But usually at least in Texas, people are pretty receptive to acts of kindness.They say "please" and "thank you" over here. Which may not sound like much but it goes a long way.
But on the same hand chilvary isn't dead unless a person individually chooses not to do it. Of course, women can't expect to have it both way, but neither can guys.
