born in boston, first year 8 yrs in carribbean, next 15 in TEXAS (probably picked it up there), then the rest here in NoVA. i dont have an accent

I'm not from the south, but I say it because it takes too many words to express the same thing otherwise.

A yawl is a two-masted sailing craft similar to a sloop. Raised in Detroit live in the South you all.

I say it (lived in South Carolina all of my life), but I neither:
A) Drawl it out
B) Have anything close to a Southern accent. My Mom is mostly Northern, and my dad lived his childhood in Illinois. They're where I get my accent from. I only say ya'll when it flows in the sentence, otherwise it's 'you guys'.
