And yet people frequently use "oh" in place of saying "zero" because it's shorter, hence the poll.
I frequently use either.
i.e. for my area code, I say "nine-oh-eight" but for my zip code I say "zero-eight-eight-four-four." For the last four digits of my phone number I say "zero-zero-six-five" because "oh-oh" sounds funny. When I'm talking on the phone I'm more prone to using zero for clarity.

Almost always zero. Our industry has alot of identification numbers which are alphanumeric.
The difference between saying "oh" and "zero" could be the difference between dropping a frac T1 or dropping an OC48.
