Urban dictionary says "Idear" is a New England pronounciation of the word, "Idea". I've heard both used. How do you say it?

That's right ... Kerry said "Idear" in his debate. :D

My professor used to always say "Idear" and I never understood why. Another professor used to say "zed" and then later she said she was Canadian.

I heard of "idear" here and there but I didn't think 'normal' people used it.

There's a big difference. Saying "idear" is part of an accent, not being able to say "nuclear" is part of being retarded.

No, they are not different at all. The way Bush says nuclear is very southern drawn out kind of way. Not very uncommon at all.

I say idea, but right now my math prof says idear, drawr, remahk (instead of remark) and other stuff. I think he might be from Boston.

I just saw a Bush ad, he has a problem pronouncing 'message'

He has a lot of problems with the english language in general it seems. I guess if you're from Podunk you might understand him, but he sounds anything but intellectual when he speaks.
