I dont read in the bookstore I buy books, if you want to read go to the library. You don't rip open a bag of chips and try them before you buy do you?

well most magazines i've seen that come in plastic wraps usually have a cd/dvd included w/the magazine so thats why they do it.

i just hate it when the plastic wrap isn't clear and has all this crap on it, and I can't see the cover (IE Official XBox Magazine). i hate that stuff!

but i still don't open the plastic ever.

the Chapters bookstore I go to usually has a display issue which has been removed from the plastic.

barring that... um no i don't rip open the plastic. lol. there's a reason it's sealed, which i think is so n00bs won't read it before they buy it.

Yeah the wrapped ones are wrapped for a reason, not for you to go tearing it open.

if it contains an AOL disc, I'll open the wrapping and throw the disc inside a mac magazine to save the buyer from the torture

Same here. I'd never do it myself, for obvious reasons.
