Do you reply to a thread just for the sake of arguing?

Quite often. Is that considered trolling?

Are you calling me a troll. Cause I don't want to get an argument about it. Don't call me a troll. 😉

I don't consider it trolling..it's a conversation correct?

People reply to a thread to express their opinions. Other people often have different opinions and a wish to express them as well. If I agree with you then I won't just make up a reason to disagree if that's what you're asking. Disagreeing and being able to prove yourself right is incredibly fun though, and I hope to be able to do it often. Winding up on the other side of that is not so fun, but I come out of it with a better understanding of whatever it was I was wrong about. So...yes.

Some times I feel like I need to respond to give my own experience or correct something. I kind of feel like it's part of the internet social contract. Take something, give something. Other times, I'm like, to hell with it...nobody's going to listen and it doesn't really matter.

That's not argument, it's just contradiction!

An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
