Do you regard 'Overnight' shipping to be safer?

About to buy a $1000 digicam and considering spending the extra $10 for overnight service.... (which would bring the shipping total to $30)

I'm in no dire rush, but i would think one less day in fedex's hands only could mean less chance for problems....

If they're shipping FedEx, as long as it's 3-day or above (i.e. not Ground), I'd be fine with it.

Doubt that will happen... I guess 2nd day air will be fine....

Why does everyone mistrust fedex? They took a week and a half to get some glass thing here from Canada and it was intact.
