Do you reckon Microsoft will bring out Windows ME SE?

I know there are quite a few owners of WinME but do you reckon Microsoft will bring out an SE version to fix most of the bugs they find?

I think so. Maybe not a SE but Release 2 or something. They did the same with Win95 [OSR2 (Win95A/B/C) ]

I hope they do something. I thought ME had great potential, but it is terrible at the moment

Hmm...wouldn't Whistler Personal be available by then? Wouldn't Whistler Personal replace Win ME? Maybe not?

They will release a version like OSR 2, 2.1 and 2.5 for Windows 95, but it will only be available to OEM's (just like ORS 2 for Win95), they will not market it as a new OS.

why is microsoft releasing so many OS's so fast? isnt that going to create leass market for them?

Certainly, they will do, with another name though. WinME is win98 third edition by itself already.

All DOS versions of Windows stopped at ME. The next OS is NT based.
