Do you really want to complain about gas?

Sounds like supply and demand to me. Didn't you guys get hit with the hurricane as well? Should half of the stations being out of gas tell you something?

Uhh, it hasn't really even rained hard. I think there is more behind half the stations being out then the media is telling. If it was simple supply and demand, the surrounding areas would be affected as well, since their fuel comes form the local depot.

Isn't Tennessee, like, pretty far from the Gulf of Mexico?

Oregon hasn't changed a penny. Might have gone down a couple actually.

The surrounding areas aren't as populated = less demand. Also they would have more supply in their tanks. So that's why they're not out. It's also why prices are high in knoxville - high demand/low supply.

Hey! Deisel is cheaper there. For once california prices don't go up every time a bird shits on a refinery somewhere.

Dude, premium gas was 9.35 per gallon at the pump this morning :Q!

I'm quite sure it was a mistake on the sign as the other grades only went up maybe 7 cents, but I saw that and did kind of a double take.

Pretty sure he, and I, were referring to the lack of period making it look like a $869 pack of cigs.

I was surprised it didn't go up here in NM.

It actually went down by 4 cents, at 3.559 now.

??? For 3 packs, that's dirt cheap. Here 2 for $9.99 is considered a sale

(fitsed yoor speling) ;)

No kidding. It seems like anything that happens anywhere in the world causes our prices to jump, even when they don't affect our supply in any way.

Anyone else catch this:
After checking around local stores, it seems that $4.99 is consumers can expect to pay.
