Do you really miss school?

I'm going to be graduating in May (Finance & Management double major with Global Business minor) and I'm kinda excited about it. The idea of not having homeworks, projects and finals helps me sleep at night. Maybe it's because I tried to fit 2 degrees and a minor to 4 years (took summer classes and maximum credit), but I'm sick of people telling me that I'm going to miss school. Is it true? I mean, I sure won't miss *school* but maybe the convenience of choosing what I want to do during the day (hang out with friends, go to the gym, go to movies, etc. etc.).

So?

Edit: No job offers yet.

No no, even though thats true, saing I miss school would be such a lie. Money is the goodness.

High School though, that was easy streak. I do miss that.

Only change is you throw in a  in there for when you go home because you seriously need it after all the bitching at work.

I did pretty good in college. If I had to go back I think I could do twice as good in way less time. I miss being totally irresponsible.

I miss the carefree party days and hanging with friends. You don't realize it now, but college days are carefree days compared to what you're going to be experiencing unless you seek further education.

I don't miss being broke and living at poverty level and eating Ramen noodles all the time.

Overall, I'm glad I'm not in college any more, but you have an unbelievable amount of responsibility to take on.

as much as the real world stinks, i can honestly say that i don't miss school one iota.

it's better to be paid to be tortured instead of paying to be tortured.

High School was a hoot, and required very little work.

College has its moments, but your not there just to get by, you might actually need to learn the stuff. My high school work habits don't really fly here :(

It's true, but it doesn't take into account the people who took on the responsibility of being financially independent before they finished college. For us, it's a relief to get finished with school and only have work to worry about.

Yeah, I graduated High School with little effort. With really good grades too even though some teachers knew I was a lazy ass. Couldn't really do that at University level though.
Btw, work sux (work almost 12 hours each day) I miss my university/high school days :(

At least when you go home you are done with your job, though (depending on your work style, of course).

As others have said, I miss the campus lifestyle, but I certainly don't miss class and schoolwork and getting paid $7.50/hour.

no way

i am glad i don't take tests in my job

i had a job (US Navy) where we had to continually train/take tests and i don't miss that

i like to learn new stuff, but i don't want the hassle/pressure of being tested on it

I don't necessarily miss school, but I miss certain aspects of college.

I miss having all my friends live within a five minute walk. I also miss drinking. post-college, by the time it gets to Friday night, all my friends are too tired to go hang out at a bar all night, so we tend to do more mundane/boring things (poker night, bowling, etc).
