I was wondering if people around here take time and enjoy reading stories/novels/episodes on the internet (of course, I'm talking about free, but high quality/professional stories:) ).

I ask this question because i'm writing some kind of a book (ok, more looking like a short story for the moment, but I intend to grow it into a full novel style book ;) and I was wondering if I should put it on the internet once completed. But, for sure, I won't go through all the trouble of doing that if I'm the only one who reads these kind of things :|

I would buy a book even if the identical content were available online for free.

yes, all the time. ones I like I print out. I have a good 15 4 and 5" 3 ring binders of stuff I downloaded and printed.

I love printing 4 and 6 sheets to a page too. That feature rocks!

Yeah, I agree that it is though on the eyes to read for a long time on a screen. I usually read short sections at a time, otherwise I can't even follow the story at all (I'm telling you, all those computer screens are sucking up our brains!!! :p

I'm fine with reading a short story on the internet, but a book is getting too long. It most cases I'd rather just read an actual book.

Sometimes. But not usally, nothing beats getting a good book by the heater with a cup of coco.

When I buy a house, I want a huge bay window that I can sit in. So that way, when its raining, I can go in there with like 8 pillows and a blanket and just read. I would probaly have some coco or some soup, something hot anyways. But for now... its the heater.
