Do you read books for fun?

Story Books, today we mostly hear about stories from the newspaper, tv shows and movies.

How many of you read stories from books?

There is something wrong with this poll:

"Yes, I enjoy reading books

I only read books for study

I read books for fun and for study

I never read any kind of book ever"

#1 can work with #2 and #3. You can enjoy reading books for study and you can enjoy reading books for fun and study.

When I have time, yes( i.e. not recently). Mostly sci-fi: I've been looking for the time to read the five hugo novel award nominees, I've only read two so far, before the list came out. Also a list I acrued from a related /. thread. Outside of that, not much non-fiction. A Greenspan bio on my desk I haven't gotten around to starting, and Clash of Civilizations.

I read almost every day. I used to read voraciously but I've slowed down quite a bit and just cruise through books now, taking my time. My favorite kinds of books are either well-written factual history or historical fiction. The funny thing is, I hated anything to do with history when I was in school.

I read a lot of books. When I was home, I used to read 3-4 books per week. This is inspite of having 10-12 hours working for 6 days.

Yes, I read for fun.
But, the books I read are non-fiction.
Most recent book I read that wasn't for a grad class was "Mathematical Mysteries - The Beauty and Magic of Numbers"
Some interesting stories in it!
