When you go to grocery store or some other store that uses shopping carts, do get one from the parking lot before you go into the store, or do you wait until you get inside the store to get your cart?
Gee, that sure would be nice of me, but I never thought to do it. I certainly return my cart to the store, or cart corral when I'm done with it, though.
Yea, Yes or no questions usually don't have a "or <somthing else>" in them. For example: a person asking "Will you have the chicken or the steak?" would be really confused if you just said "Yes" 🙂
I never do. Heinens in the Midwest has the right idea - shopping carts don't leave the store, you pull up and a bunch of high school kids load your groceries into your car for you. Brilliant. The kids that would normally be searching for carts in the parking lot do the loading, and there aren't a bunch of lazy bastards leaving their carts so that they hit parked cars.
I need a "fresh" cart from inside the store. It's like when somebody pulls too many napkins out of the napkin holder at McDonalds, and then leaves the extra stack sitting nearby. You still go for the napkins in the holder.
Only time I've every pushed one from the parking lot is when its one of those whole sale wearhouse places like Costco, they never have any carts inside.
I grab a cart from the parking lot... doing my part to make up for the ignorant and lazy people who just leave them next to their car instead of returning them to the designated places.
I like the stores where you have to put money into the handle to get your cart, and it doesn't give the money back until you put the cart back. It's amazing 50 cents is enough to make these lazy people bring the cart back.
