Do you prefer white meat or dark meat?

I've never figured out why everyone thinks angus is so much better meat. What is it about that word that makes everyones brains turn off and think "Oh my, that must be so much better than regular beef! I'll pay more to get it."

In a blind taste-test, you'd probably not be able to tell the difference.

<-- prefers the white meat. (Though actually, I think the color is technically pink... 😉 )

A cow is a cow is a cow..... There really isn't any difference between "Certified Angus Beef" and regular beef. The taste/texture will come mostly from how that animal was raised.

That being said, I'm surprised at the quality of meat some people pass off as prime beef. *puke*

<-- grandparents were lifelong ranchers and my mother grew up on said ranch.
