I go both ways.

Right now I'm addicted to TF2. Bioshock, which is single player, tore me away for a while, but Crysis has failed to do the same (I'm about 1 hour in, but have not played it in days).

Exactly. I do play online, but only in MMOs - the average twitch shooter multi player is too immature for my taste. I prefer playing alone but with the social aspect of a kin/guild chat. I've found what I think to be the perfect guild for people like me, too - it's more or less a clan of fairly social people who only sometimes want to play as a group. And there's no drama.

WOW, i'm amazed so many people play single player games, I mean I play the single player campaign for a game one time but then I only play multiplayer. I have played CS, TFC, and DOD and most recently DOD:S for the last 10 years and those games make up 99% of my computer gaming time in my life with DOD:S being probably 98% in the last 2 years. I just don't have the time to learn a whole new game every 6 months or something.
