Do you play Black & White?

I just got it on Monday and i freaking love it! I think it is very creative and the graphics are excellent. I do have one problem though, last night i was playing it till 2 in the morning and i had to get this morning at 6:30 and now when ever i look at things i see those circles that form when you are getting ready to cast a spell. It is actually kinda cool but i am not sure if it is healthy.
Anyways that game is cool!

Yes, I play about once a week or so. I visit my humongous 2nd level kingdom and play with my monkey who is so "nice" he glows and shines with light.

I played through about 5 times total

Yeah, same here, I was playing it, I think I got to the 3rd or fourth world, but I got stock and it got repetitive and long, so I quit. It was fun while it lasted though.

 

Is there a Geforce3 or DX 8.1 patch for it? I remember reading something about that a while ago.

I used to play it until my HDD crashed. I don't want to go through doing the tutorials all over again just to play the game.

Did they come out with a patch for that yet so you can skip the tutorials?

I was pissed to learn that feeding your Tiger livestock is an evil act. I have a pet cat and let me tell you, he would be pissed at me if I fed him grain...

I was basically a good god, but apparently I did enough evil stuff to have a red temple.......

hated that stupid freakin game. Biggest waste of $50 I've spent ever! Stupid farting cows and idiot villagers.

So no, I do not play B&W. I was about to burn it and offer it as a sacrifice to my computer but I gave it away at the last minute to a friend.

I played it for about a week and then I just lost interest. Just couldn't keep me interested.

I sold it after I beat the second level.
What a bad game, it had really REALLY innovative gameplay, but they just tried to do too many things. I didn't like it very much at all. I only bought it because of the hype.

I liked playing at at 1st and I was having all kinds of fun trying to make my Horse be on the good side, he was all cool helping out the villagers then I turn around and he's all black and eating the villagers.... I don't know what brought all that on... I stopped at that point... I'll maybe go back again if they come out with a script or cheat code to make him good and stay good

I played it until it started to feel like working a second job (midway through 2nd island). The first island is fun and easy. You can meet your villagers demands and have fun. But, once you get to the second island, your villagers become whiney, complaining freeloaders and drive you nuts!!!! At that point I said, "screw this, I want to play a game that is actually FUN."

I loved it at first, but by the time I got to the level where your creature gets stolen, I got quite sick of it. I haven't picked it up in months, beat Max Payne and Undying instead, now I'm hopelessly addicted to the RTCW Multiplayer test...

if you play evil, and kill people when they start whining, the game has alot less resource management just make sure your creature is powerful enough to do most of your spellcasting. Black & White was awesome for a while, but I got kind of bored with it. It is fun to teach your creature to rain down hell on enemy villages... all the children on fire running in circles screaming, my chimp stomping on people and on houses while hurling fireballs and lightning bolts.... mwahahahaha....

I quit playing cuz I suck...I played 4 times and couldn't get my cow to grow. It grew a bit and then stopped growing, each time I played. Read all the forums and tips and my cow still didn't grow.

If you keep your villagers food low they won't procreate and the micromangement will never come into play.
