Do you plan to observe a moment of silence for 9/11 tomorrow?

It's at 8:46 AM eastern, according to the e-mail my company sent out. I live in the pacific time zone, so I'll be honoring it by snoring.

I know there is a special service at the NYC Fire Department to honor the 347 people who died helping other people out, and also one for the NYPD for the 37 police officers who had done the same thing. Just reading about how some of these police officers have worked 20+ years in the force and had given their life to save others is quite heart wrenching. I will be going to the 8:30 AM service at ground zero.

Knock Knock.
Who'se There
9/11
9/11 Who?
YOU SAID YOU'D NEVER FORGET! :frown:

I do plan on holding a moment of silence.
I lost a good friend when the towers came down... a buddy worked for Cantor Fitzgerald

Still gives me the chills when I read it...
Man, that is some crazy shit.

That thread reflects the sheer chaos well..

Nobody knew what the fuck was going on for the longest time...

That's an interesting thread. I just skimmed through 9am-11am posts. Amazing that I only found out aroun 11am at school. Also notable is the 'call to arms' and remembering where we are now...
