Do you peel the skin off kiwis?

My friends were surprised to find I eat kiwis with the skin. I just put it under some running water, then scrape off all the hair with a sharp knife. I like the taste of it..kinda sour..goes well with the sweet kiwi.

No, actually it isn't.

It's much more like eating the skin of a peach. The sourness is a good contrast with the sweet kiwi meat.

It tastes good. Orange, banana, etc.. peel does not.

I have always found them to be disappointing. I'm always expecting this succulent, hardy little green fruit--but what I get is a gushy, mealy, unappetizing little mass of blob. Oh well.
