I recently bought a 1gb Lexar JumpDrive Sport, it's pretty nice. USB 2.0 is soooo much faster than 1.1. I like the fact that mine will fit on my keychain and has a protective rubber cap around the whole thing. Pretty slick and under $100.

actually, i HAD a thumb drive last year

256MB sandisk for my photography class (we frequently used photoshop and saved to our drives)

i bought it for $60 and sold it for $40 a few months ago

Mine is a 256mb memorex that I got for free. My brother paid $9AR for it some time ago and just gave it to me because he needed a larger one for work.

Well my main quirk about it was that it didn't fit into the computer's front USB ports at school. That was the number one reason I purchased it, to use it as a thumb drive/mp3 player. It didn't fit so I got upset and said forget about it. Plus scrolling through all your music is a beeyatch.

I have a Lexar drive with my .pk2 file on there. Its an encrypted Mobipassword (e-wallet/password keeper) file with top secret info.

I have a see thru Lexar 128mb jumpdrive! I'm still amazed at the people thaty still don't know what this little gadget is when I pull it out of my pocket from time to time. My reaction is it's only a jumpdrive! But then again people will stare at my dell pocket pc and my mp3 player when I have it out in public.

I have a 128MB Lexar one. I use it as a bootdisk in some cases, and to xfer small files not large enough to waste time burning a CD. I also try to keep it handy for work in case of travel where folks want to give files not on a lan/cd/etc. Really, I don't use it that much and can't justify buying a larger one.
