Do you own a suit

I own 1 suit that's way too big... I bought it like a hundred pounds ago.

the last time I needed a suit was for my friend's wedding a year and a half ago... I bought one off the rack and returned it the day after the wedding (well, I kept the shirt and tie, returned the jacket and pants)

I'm pretty confident most men own at least one due to weddings/funerals, etc.

IMHO, a better question to ask would be, "do you own your own tuxedo"?

I've owned many suits over the years... however I currently only have one... but several shirts and ties to go with it. To provide the illusion of more than one. 🙂

Does it work? Beats me, but I made it through three rounds of interviews for my current job in the same suit, with three different shirt/tie combos. 🙂

I have two, but neither really fits me right now. I weighed about 150 when I got them, and now I don't.

I got two suits in active rotation. One black and one navy blue. The 2nd suit is worn if the first suit is at the cleaners or it is a multi-day conference where a suit is proper attire. The other two suits are in the reserves, which will be recalled back to active duty as soon as my waist returns to size 34.

Just one, plain black, non-pinstripe. Not an off the rack, customized by a regional tailor chain.

The next time I see needing it is a wedding in September, but I'm hoping I'll be in different enough shape to need a new one.

27, employed, never worn a suit.

Every wedding I've been to (about 10), I've either been in the wedding party and had to rent a special tuxedo, or shirt/tie/slacks were acceptable. I figure I'll have to get one when I finally attend a funeral.

No. I have a few nice jackets I can wear with a pair of nice slacks but I don't own a suit...and I never wear ties. Fuck ties...most useless garment on the planet.

I am 15 and I have a suit.

Edit: It's not an entire thing, but I have a jacket, white/black collared shirt, tie, dress pants, nice shoes...

SAME DIFFERENCE!

Had a pretty decent one until my wife inexplicably decided to wash the pants. Wool doesn't appreciate that so much. /facepalm

I have another one that I don't care for, and then have a sport jacket. I need to get a couple new suits soon, have a feeling I may be job hunting.

Yep, and I wear a suit every time I have meetings with clients. For day to day, I buy a couple of pairs of suit separate pants, black and charcoal. For each color I own, I have a single matching jacket. That way, if I ever need to throw on a suit quickly, I'm already wearing pants that have a matching suit jacket. My work bag has a tie in it for the same reason.

i don't wear suits now...but I had been wearing them since early teens being in banking.

A suit can be dressed up or down...I wore suits dressed down a lot when dating for profit.

No. I'm lucky all my jobs have been jeans-and-t-shirt places (though I usually try to wear a polo or a button-up shirt instead so I don't look TOO trashy).

I have some decent looking clothes for more formal occasions but no suit and I don't own any ties.
