The mazda 3 is fvcking awesome. I see no reason after having been in both to spend the extra for the 6.

My main gripe with the 5 are those absolutely HORRIBLE tail lights. They look like APC ones for a Focus, seriously.

Anyway, I somehow really like the Fit even though its only got 105hp. I'd get one if I was in the market for a commuter/practical car.

Your Si starting to show its age I take it?

Yeah......... water leaks when it rains (comes from 6 break ins, they pulled the door frame out). Water leaks are not fun when you live in a rainy climate like I do.

The Si is actaully still pretty good............ 108 hp. I just had to fix an oil leak last year. I'm considering buying the 5........ but I can still live with the Si 🙂

maybe you can get the last of the EP hatches if any are still around, supposedly dealers almost give them away. 😛
 
I never drove one but I looked inside and it seemed very nice and practical while not being quite as big and clunky as a typical minivan. Cool car in my opinion if you need the seats. The fit, while it is a nice car, is a lot smaller.

My other son drives a Honda civic and the mazda 3 is way better. Of course I drive these cars too and Mazda 3 is awesome.

A volvo salesman told me that the chassis of the Mazda 3 is the same as that of Volvo S40... Ford owns these car brands.

He advised me to buy a Mazda 3 if I want to get more bang for my buck. Took his advice and I did. :laugh: LOL!

Too lazy to check his info but the Mazda 3 is really a great car to own and drive.

Dude......... the Civic is the most broken into car around here. Funny thing is ...... they can take anything........ but they end up taking change.......... damn junkies :| 😛

My boss has one and really likes it. My wife test drove one but said it felt "cheap"...not too surprising since it is cheap relatively speaking.

We currently have a 6 wagon FWIW.
