Do you own a HDTV?

many reports have stated that by the year of 2006, most consumers will own at least 1 hdtv. even though we're not at 2006 yet, let's see how many of us actually own one.

No.

I was just thinking the other day how in my entire lifetime we've gone through two "big" TVs. One 25" and a 27" now. I think this one is about to go though and we can't afford a new television, so I dunno what'll happen.

with the prices of one a normal person at this point can only afford a 27" if thet are lucky. Why would they give up a 32" that can be had much cheaper or even a larger tv (I got my 52" for $350) to down grade to a hdtv thats only 27 inches that costs more?

I mean the damn 32"s are almost what $800+, projection tv's are $1000+, forget plazma or LCD. Majority of americans are lower to middle class and still cant afford this when a analog set can be had cheaper. Governemet needs to get thier heads out of thier A$$es and see not all are rich like they are.

No. I was gonna get a HD LCD from Costco, but they ran out. Consumer Report says the prices on LCD and Plasma sets will drop dramatically this year. So even though my current TV looks like crap, I'll wait till next year and see Costco has to offer.
