Do you open the car door for your g/f or wife?

yep, if its a special occasion, espically if she's dressed up, she likes it..

I open it for her to get in. She typically opens it to get out, but I think that's because she doesn't really want to wait for me to walk around the car to open it for her.

my door lock is busted so i just give the keys to her to unlock the passenger door and then she opens my door from the inside

In the good ol days of manual door locks, it made more sense, was easier. Nowadays, tell me what girl is going to stand there and wait for you to open it after you've already use your remote unlock 20 feet before arriving at the car? Beep beep, car unlocked, walk for another 7 seconds, girl stands by door, interior light is on, twiddle her thumbs, "Oh, what a gentleman, opening my door for me!"

I did the first 3-4 months I went out with my wife, but after that, she just laughed at me and said she was perfectly capable of opening the door.

Edit: Coming to think of it, when I pick her up and etc, I open the door.

you sound like my bf. he gave up opening the car door for me after a year. he still will hold open all other doors for me though.
