Do you open a new window when you read a new thread?

Like right click, open new window?

I just started doing this after I saw a friend of mine doing this for quite some time. I can say it takes up more room but it's much easier than clicking on the back button to go back and see the list of threads.

interesting thought. i never thought to do it, it would be like windows explorer right. i guess if your resolution allowed for it, you could window / tile both and use one as a tree and one as the read window.

how is it easier than hitting back? control-W vs alt-left. i fail to see the big difference there. plus you're adding one extra click AND you have to navigate an extra menu every freaking time you want to open a link. i can't imagine a dumber navigation technique except for people who don't know links only take one click instead of two. no wait, your's is dumber.

Nope...

I could though. I do just about everything else that way. I usually have too many windows open anway, so having 10-15 active threads open too would be just that much worse.

not usually, but if I see a few interesting topics in the list, I will shift-click the links to open a new window so I can find the others I noticed easier later in the original window.
