Do you need XP to get the best out of a Nvidia Dual Setup?

Hi i just got a new Leadtek G4 ti 4400 and 2 philps 109p 19" monitors.
It was the coolest thing getting both going, and im really happy with it.
I am running 2000 pro and there just seems a few problems with the drivers, the most anoying is the position memory is never remembered, and my dvd player ( leadteks winfast dvd ) freezes.
I was thinking of getting XP before, but is it worth it to upgrade for to get solid use out of Nvidia nview?
