Do you need the Hotfix Ati drivers?

Just installed the Ati 8.11 drivers and now I see their are newer 8.11 Hotfix drivers. Do I need those? I don't play Far Cry 2 or any other new game really. I mostly play BF2 and GRID and COD5...

I don't use hotfix drivers. Just use the WHQL official ones. The hotfix drivers typically address a glaring glitch in a particularly new game.

If you play those particular games, use the hot fix. If you don't, then just wait for the next Catalyst maybe. There is nothing wrong that can happen if you use a hot fix.
