Do you need MSN Explorer with Win XP?

MSN Explorer becomes a part of your system. Just run MSCONFIG and in the START tab deselect MSNMSGS. When you run OE6 the MSN Explorer icon will show up on your task bar with a red X on it meaning it is not logged on or running. When IE6 or OE6 is not running you can right click on the icon and select to EXIT.

The short answer to your question is, "No!"

MSN Explorer is a low rent version of Internet Explorer and is not even aprt of WinXP
