Do you need a title to sell a car?

I lost/misplaced the title and was wondering how I should go about transfering the title? Must I purchase a new one?

Apply for replacement. Ladt time I did it, took less then $20 and less then two weeks.

To sell one no you don't need a title. The buyer however will if he actually plans to ever drive the car on public roads. Can't even give the car to a junkyard without a title.

If you lost the title, go to the title office...get a replacement.
