Do you mod your computer case, if so how?

I wasn't planning on moding mine but it looks like I'll have to.

Actually, I'll probably have to drill holes in my drives.

I just got an Antec 1080AMG and all my 5.25" drives stick out about 1/2".

Is there an easier way that I'm missing?

I think you're doing something wrong because I have an Antec 1040 which is essentually the same model and mind don't stick out at all.

Yes, but there is more than one hole on the rails. Unscrew the rail and move it forward until the holes line up and try that. Either that or move it backward one hole, I can't remember which as I haven't used rails in awhile. One of the two will fix your problem.

cases are designed to take 5.25" drives. If it doesn't fit, you're doing it wrong.

Yep. Something wrong. I use those cases every day. Never had that problem. You've got the drives on the wrong holes of the rails. The holes on the drives are right (there's only one set of those), but the holes you are using in the rails are wrong. Move the rails forward one hole.
