The ones from the 90s. Those were some of the greatest teams ever, especially chemistry wise and just great teamplay. They knew how to play smartly. Led by Karl Malone, John Stockton and Jeff Hornaneck, they took on Michael Jordan's Bulls a few times in the finals and came close to winning it all. Too bad they did not win.

To me, that was a great era of NBA basketball. When players like Ewing, John Starks, Alonzo, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Jeff Hornaceck, Detlef Shcrempf, Vlade Divac, Michael Jordan, Mitch Richmond, Gary Payton, David Robinson, Shawn Kemp, Avery Johnson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Tim Hardaway, Penny Hardaway and many many more played.

What has happened to the NBA recently?

I just cannot watch it anymore aside from the rare playoff game.

I miss Tim Hardaway's crossover in the '91(?) playoffs against Byron Scott and the Lakers, schooling him time and time again. :D

Definately. I think he had this one classic dunk over someone famous. That dunk is still remember today. Not sure of the specific.

He had some great games against the Miami Heat during the playoffs and some not so great games. He was a hot/cold kind of player. When he was hot, man was he unstoppable. But when cold ... well lets just leave it at that.

Ah good ole' days.

Don't forget about the Seattle Sonics. Gary Payton and Sean Kemp in their golden era. There were several series vs the Bulls where I felt the only reason they lost is because they didn't get home court advantage. In Seattle the Bulls would get their @sses handed to them only to return the favor back in Chicago.

the 90's were the best of basketball because it was micheal vs. all, and it was fun watching each team do it, the west was fun because who knew what could have happened

now the NBA is full of one star teams and 2-3 powerhouse teams that will win it all, zzzz

its been a bit dull since those days when the bulls were dominating, but it hasn't been that bad. houston won a couple, same with the spurs and lakers had a near dynasty. now its the age of the pistons who are great. these playoffs have been fun and its only the beginning of round 2.

i was a big jazz fan in the mid/early 90's.. i agree that they were a really good team back then and were very competitive being one of the smaller markets always making it to the playoffs

Yep. Definitely miss them over today's Jazz team. It's just not the same, nor as fun to watch.

Still like watching Tim Duncan play, but that's about it.
