Do you make friends easily?

The question: Is it easy for you, or difficult? Or do you not try?

I ask, because I was just thinking over here. Basically all of my friends are from my like... communal circle of friends, I guess. All of my friends are each other's friends, you see? I don't have any outside that circle.

Now my friends, on the other hand, all have friends at their universities and whatnot. Satellite friend circles. And I was thinking about this, and I figured out that I just don't make friends easily.

Most people like me when they meet me. I'm extremely personable, and I'm very comfortable dealing with and talking to new people, and I fit in hanging out with other peoples' friends. But it just doesn't go any farther than that. The interaction is either too superficial to base anything more extensive on, or I find myself just not wanting to hang out with these other people in any friend-like capacity.

I wonder why I'm resistant? Huh. So anyway, I just want to know what it's like for the rest of you. I don't generally make train-of-thought posts like this, but I'm honestly curious. :p

I get along with pretty much anyone, and I have a lot of acquaintances; however, I have only a few people I could really call friends.

I make friends almost too easily. Get into the friends zone with women in no time flat. Haven't had a GF in a LONG time.

I make friends easily.

Sometimes you can't be *bothered* to make friends with people or try to be closer to some people. Why? You can't be bothered. It is hard enough keeping friends with your current ones new ones wouldn't get the time of day. Or your just picky as you have little time.

making friends is easy if you try. Go out and be talkative, that's all it really takes unless there seriously is something wrong with you. If you sit at home in front of the PC or Xbox all day moping about how you're alone, of course you wont make friends.

I dont make friends that easily. Im far too judgemental of people in my own mind, and dont give people a chance.

Same here. I can easily get into a conversation or do things with other people but most of my friends say that I was difficult to become real friends with. I don't let people get that close too easily and I'm particular about who I'm friends with. But the friends I have, have remained as friends through the years.

Same here. I can easily get into a conversation or do things with other people but most of my friends say that I was difficult to become real friends with. I don't let people get that close too easily and I'm particular about who I'm friends with. But the friends I have, have remained as friends through the years.

I guess that pretty much sums up my long-ass post. That's how I feel. All my friends are from years ago, like from middle and high school.
