Do you make different kinds of playlists for winamp?

My music is gettin unmanageable.. mostly because i've been ripping cds onto my hd .... anyways, you guys make different "mixes"?

No playlists here. I just add the songs as I go down the list.

yup...depends on my mood. There's the slow "i feel like crap and my gf's a slut" mix, then there's "i never want to see that hoe bag again" bouncy-rap mix, and who could forget the "i hope she rots in hell" alternative mix.

I think I'm now over the 6200 mark in terms of MP3s. Thankfully, most of them are full albums, eac having its own directory. Earlier today, I found M3U Maker which has the capability to create a playlist for each directory, and can dump all of the playlists just about anywhere (merge into one playlist, actually put playlist *in* each directory, or a separate directory containing all playlist files).

I am trying to use Jukebox utility for my Palm to control WinAmp on my MP3 server. I can do all the normal play/next/last/stop stuff, but I can't seem to change playlists right now. If I can get all of this going via IrDA, I'd be set.

i've started to. i got so many from so many different genres that i kinda have to if i'm in the mood for one type of music. so far tho it's just the full list and one rock/punk/ska list.

i enqueue as default, so, technically, all i do is make playlists.
