Do you love or hate tradition?

Typically, I like traditions as long as they aren't anything outlandish. Thanksgiving with the family is good. Christmas tree setup is always great. Getting smashed with the uncles on New Years Eve is amazing.

I don't like tradition all that much. It follows my logic that things are put into action just to be put into action. That's why I despite most of it.

Depends on the tradition, or in some cases, parts of each tradition. Take Christmas. I enjoy large meals with the family, but IMO gift giving is (for the most part) a waste of money.

Then there's traditions that are really nothing but nonsensical rules imposed on us by society. Take pie eating, for example. Everyone eats pie with a fork and a knife, but to me that shows a lack of efficiency. If the pie is properly made it can be eaten with a knife alone. Cut, stab, shove. Simple as that, yet everyone considers that to be improper. So long as I'm not making a mess, wtf does it matter? :|
