Thinking of going up to Conway NH tomorrow to see the fall colors. If you live up there, how is it still? Past peak...or still good color?

Thanks

I live in the Cumberland Mountains of Eastern Tennessee. We haven't had a hard freeze yet so no color changes so far. :( It's just been too warm.

I haven't been to Conway in a while...Maine (Norway area) was beautiful on Thursday. I'm a bit north of Conway - it's not bad, but leaves are definitely falling.

North Central Minnesota on September 25th fall colors

Unfortunately a lot of evergreens in the area. lol. It's hitting peak here in MN in the southern part of the state...but it's way past in the northern part.

The DNR here has a link for fall color updates...perhaps NH has something similar that will tell you if they are before, at or past peak. Check into it.

I'm going to climb Mount Washington in a few weeks. November 10th. They'll be brown by then, but I'm going for the hike.

Have you climbed Washington at that time of year? Be ready for some nasty stuff.

Yeah, I climbed that time last year. It was 10 degrees with 50 mph winds, and we were trudging through the snow most of the time.

I'm at school up in the Adirondacks (NY for those who don't know). All the trees here are still looking fine. No bare trees here yet :p
