you'd be hard pressed to find me doing anything without music playing. I need music to live. I just listen to my normal music when building computers, although Metallica's Black album seems to be my preferred computer-building music.

Some of the bands I have listened to while building/upgrading/parting PCs include (but are not limmited to)
Novembers Doom
Saturnus
The Gathering
In Flames
Iron Maiden
Opeth
Paradise Lost
Sentenced
Enslaved
Summoning
Shadows Fall
Lake of tears
SlowHorse
Manowar
Nightwish
At The Gates
Monster Magnet

(well pretty much anything Metal, Stoner Rock, or Goth i guess, and by metal, i mean metal, none of that rap stuff)

<< None, got my ear on the system listening for any odd noise coming from fans or drives and evaluating the overall quietness factor. >>

Boy George, NKOTB, and Hanson seem to keep my spirits alive when building computers.

I don't really build computers, but when I built mine the only thing I listened to were my own curses. :)
