Do you listen to music in bed falling alseep?

I do if I don't have a tv to help me fall asleep. It's like I need constant "sensory stimulation" or something to fall asleep. Without the tv on or music playing I find it really hard to fall asleep. And when the tv is on I don't even watch it most of the time cuz I pretty much have to be on my side or chest to fall asleep. Sleep timers are a godsend for me. Hallelujah!

EDIT: Reading puts me to sleep too, but I don't do that as much as I should...

Yeah, i'm like that too, i need something there or i have trouble getting to sleep.......it's music unless i happen to be leaving my computer on over night.....then it's got a loud hum(delta) over the sumer i have a fan in my window

I used to listen to music before when I couldn't sleep. I only do it once in a while now, but it seems that I stay awake longer now when I listen to music

It has to be silent when I fall asleep, any noise would keep my brain awake, keeping my body awake 🙁

Dark and silent with a nice cool pillow.

I do that sometimes.
your actually hear the music even if you fall asleep, it always gets translated into some weird sound effects that goes along with my dreams.

<< Must always have music or TV on while sleeping. >>

2nd stalking post until you edit your quote of the link in the Kelly Hu thread.

Gotta have music or the T.V. going to fall asleep.

I thought I was strange because I'm the only one I know that needs something going to fall asleep.Glad to see I'm not the only one

<< yea i do, but i waste all my batteries in my MP3 player that way :| >>

You may wish to invest in some NiMH's and a charger. Cheaper in the long run, and the batteries last longer anyway.

My computer is on 24/7. My bed is lofted and it takes a LOT of effort for me to change the volume/song/playlist. So, I got a remote and propped up a little holder on the wall. Now, I just grab the remote, lower the volume to where I want, load playlist and go to sleep. My remote can do almost anything.

Control media player, control winamp, control mouse, standby, restart, shut down, off/on monitor, load counterstrike/starcraft, lock computer, open my cd-drives, open nero, show desktop, get my computer to say the current time, load my calander...

Too tired to list the rest.
