do you like your job or at least where your career is headed?

I remember hearing over and over from people I worked under (i.e. supervisors) who told me they have no clue what they want to do with their lives. These are 30+ year old married individuals with nearly 10 years in the industry.
Sometimes I can't help but to compare the paths that my friends took (law/medicine/dental) and wonder if I'll just be some middle manager of a corporation at the peak of my career, live in some boring suburban area, making sure TPS reports are done on time and call that happiness.

Unemployment is more interesting. I can't recommend it, but it has it's moments.

I absolutely like my job. I basically get to decide what we do next and how to do it while still getting my hands dirty in the technical side of things.

I like my job but there is no growth except for the very rare chance I can get my supervisor's job. My coworkers been there at least 10 years at the same position, accepting little to no increase in pay.

I don't want to be stuck there. I'll switch when I find the challenge is gone.

why anyone would want to be management at any level or capacity (even PMs) is beyond me.

I like my job. The career forces you to learn nonstop due to ongoing changes. Not to mention there is a lot of room for growth.

I'm a Biomedical Science major and I have absolutely no fucking idea where I'm going with it. And I HATE Biology and Organic Chemistry.

Some kind of IT Admin stuff is looking a lot more inviting right about now, at least I'll enjoy both studying for it and doing the work.

Meh..My current job really didn't live up to the job description. I have a four year contract though, so I might just stick with it. The perks are good but there isn't any realy career advancement opportunities.

Despise my job, totally destroyed my career 3 months ago as a supervisor of a sales team by quitting. I know work with little to no stress, with very little responsibility and I am bored out of my mind. Just spinning my wheels until I figure it all out.
