My chair has arms big enough so I can pull my legs up onto the seat and have my knees stick through the holes under the arms. I actually changed chairs because my prior one didn't allow that. I never sit cross legged though that tears my back/knees apart. Granted even just having my legs folded up is rough on me, but I'm mentally comfortable doing it out of habit :(

You have a reputation for posting inane garbage. Your reputation precedes you. Sorry, that's life, in life and on a social forum.

I don't post inane garbage though. Some people get mad at me because I post links to articles where devs are complaining about the underpowered consoles. These same people see fit to then follow me around and label everything I write as trolling. They get mad at me because I have opinions that are different than theirs. And because a lot of the people on this forum are older and get really upset when somebody disagrees with them, then they join up with their older forum buddies and manufacture a reputation by reverse-trolling somebody everytime they post, so then other posters see it and assume that person is actually a troll.

But really... find one post I have in my history that is actually trolling. You won't find it. Because I don't troll. I'm too old for that shit. What I do is post my honest opinion on matters. If somebody views an differing opinion as trolling I don't know what to say about that individual. He/she is clearly an idiot.

I PM'd KeithTalent asking him why he continues to follow me around different forums calling me a troll and he didn't respond to my PM. What we have here is an admin who clearly violates forum policy so he can abuse forum members for his own satisfaction.

I'd imagine that's because he's in the unfortunate position of not being able to use the forum ignore function and is having to do it the old fashioned way.

He doesn't need to justify himself to you. You make inflammatory posts to get a reaction. That's being a troll. KT also didn't call you a troll, in this thread at least. He merely answered a question you asked. Stop being such a whiny brat.

Yes. Wouldn't have my Aeron any other way

Yeah, I bit the bullet and bought a Aeron a long time ago (probably 12-14 years ago now). For as long as it has lasted, it has been worth every penny. I would go through a cheap office/gaming chair every 2-3 years, and be fairly uncomfortable at the same time in them. The Aeron (once adjusted to suite you) is just an amazing piece of comfort which you can easily sit in for hours at a time and not develop sore spots (or hot spots).

My current chair has arms but I don't like having them. Back falls off without them though so have no choice but to use.

The one I linked is similar to an Aero, also has lasted through 6 years of heavy (ab)use, but it cost me $180 or so. I remember back then I said "I'll buy an Aero" but then I saw their prices and said "my ass is not worth that much".

I dont think I could stand playing at a PC in a chair without arms. Are you guys that dislike arms using a gamepad? I would think you would get carpal tunnel pretty quick using a KB+Mouse without chair arms.

BTW, I dont think Ive ever seen anyone sit in an office chair cross legged. Those of you that do must be some tiny ass people, and no I am not fat! LOL

It's not so much gamepad but using a steering wheel poses some spacial awareness challenges. I'd buy a new chair without arms but I only got this chair in June so can't think about replacing it just yet.

There are some people I work with who sit cross legged at computers, most of them look like they do Yoga and drink wheat-grass though.

I use a Steelcase Leap, plenty of room to sit crosslegged and it has arms. Best chair I've ever used.

I prefer a chair with arms to rest my elbows on. The majority desk/office chairs allow removal of the arms anyway.
