Do you like to fly?

flew this week for the first time in a year or two. Some of those landings make me a bit nervous 😕 I know statistically its safer than driving.

I still fly places that are far, but I know a few people who avoid it at all cost. Like making the trek from MI to CA the year after 911 for E3 one of my friends would NOT get on a plane and drove the whole way instead.

Given the choice and time I prefer to drive simply because it provides the option of stopping along the way and viewing more. However, I have no problems with flying.

I am flying from Atlanta to Vegas on Thursday.

Looking forward to what will hopefully be all the sleep I get that weekend on the plane. 🙂

I do alot of travel for work... i travel about 1 or 2 times every 2 months. As long as you are flying first or business class you should enjoy the ride...

riding in Coach class is like a stress test thats out of control.

Kinda, yeah. The stuff leading up to it, not so much, but I really like take-off. Landing is pretty cool too. I stayed awake on a few international flights and actually started hallucinating. It was cool.

i love flying.. its easy if you know what the pilot is doing....
last time i had a worried passenger i walked him thru what is done to take off.. and land.. he felt a lot better.

I always get terrible ear aches and head aches when I fly, but driving is so boring for long trips. So I guess it's a toss up.

You forgot the "I love the time it saves and fly if possible, but hate the actual flying part" option.

It's a love / hate relationship. I love the fact that it gets me from point A to point B as fast as possible. That being said, flying from Seattle to RDU is NOT a fun trip and I am ass tired by the time i get there. I hate the fact that im crammed into a tiny seat, the fact that the chair doesn't lean back enough, the fact that i'm have slight motion sickness and the fact that layover are boring as hell.

i hate flying b/c of the time it takes to taxi around the airport but i won't drive more than 5-6 hours to a place
