Here are some lyrics from Deer Dance.

I love their music, more so than most others. They may not always have the best lyrics, but overall, they produce some good stuff. I thought Toxicity was a great album. Looking for more stuff from them.

I haven't really followed them since they released Steal This Album. Just didn't compare to Toxicity.

They're Armenian. I think I signed a contract when I was born that said that I had to like them.

I really like their first album, everything since then has just been a let down personally. There were a few keepers from their last set..

Classic case of one of those bands that starts out so amazing and just can never outdo their debut record.

Korn was that way for me , the first album was so different than anything at the time.

I think most of you guys are referring to their SECOND album "Toxicity", with songs like Aerials and Chop Suey. ;)

Their first album, which was self titled sort of came and went unnoticed.

I like listening to them, but I can't pay attention to the lyrics and enjoy it.

Politics in music = suckass.

REM repeatedly pulled it off beautifully.

It doesn't change the fact that the music may sound good, I just think that even if you agree, it destroys the purpose of music. Music to me is a form of entertainment, not a soapbox. If political messages and agendas are entertainment, then I can only assume that you consider watching C-Span until 3am a great Friday Night. Not directed at you, Nik, but that's just what I generally think.

I'm sure some people usually doesn't take politics in music very lightly and some really hate having this theme in music. As for SOAD at least in my view, gives a message in a changing world on how they feel about (maybe?) it today (war, genocide, hollywood??? lol). You don't have to take the lyrics very seriously.... Heck, at least I can understand they are saying. I like to think about it.
