i have three brothers, one sister... both my parents are still alive but old. i have one daughter.

of the three brothers, i am friendly with one, having a loving relationship with another and am not at all close with the 3rd.
i have been estranged from my sister for almost 18 months. this is recurring. we have been estranged for 4 out of the ast 6yrs.

i have a loving relationship with both my parents, though my father can strain me at time. i am incredibly close to my mom, though she is 1,000 miles away.

i absolutely ADORE my daughter (VeggieFrog). she is the person i respect and admire most on the planet and every day... i pray to God... that i can grow up and be just like her. My heart actually hurts when she is somewhere else.

Only my blood relatives plus a few that came in by marriage. I'm not a huge fan of the people that married in, etc.

My family has a very distinct personality and it's easy not to fit in.

We usually have nothing to talk about so a 3 day "coming home" rule is the best. Fly out on Friday, spend Sat eating, fly out on Sunday.
