Crumbled hot Italian sausage
diced onions, sliced baby Portabellas
diced tomatoes
few leaves of fresh basil
egg noodles

Spicy sausage with shrimp and grits and sausage with red beans and rice are two standard meals around my house. I usually cook those at least once a month.

There is literally no form of sausage that I don't like. Hot italian, kielbasa, chorizo, smokies, salami, brats, you name it, it's all good.

Italian sausage simmered in tomato sauce and green peppers.

Bratwurst with green peppers and onions.

My personal favorite: Country sausage with mashed potatoes. I like to dip the sausage in the potatoes.

Sausage is good, but you really need to find a Butcher with a European(preferably) Sausage Maker(Sausager? something else?)for really excellent sausage. Most of what's available in a grocery store ranges from utter crap to above average.

Haha yes as some of those are literally a tubesteak of scrapple! D:

I even like Blood Sausage!

Seriously since I am italian I think there is a gene that predisposes me to love Sausage and bread.

Throw in some of Nonnas fresh peppers with a filo of oil and your in heaven.

Sausage is soo good it makes italian beef better. COMBO FTW

curry wurst is good. basically it's a sausage with curry-ketchup... eaten on a sliced bread.
My German girl friend keeps telling me about it. And how it is different around the country. Must go to Germany!

I smoke different kinds, and love them all.

I get mine direct from a farm -- I don't think they do their own sausage-making though (they send their meat to a butcher who actually makes the sausage).

I don't think it's a European sausager(?) (though I guess I don't know how I'd tell) but it's still pretty good.
