Well I just wanted to give another reccomendation for a new game I just got. If you like RPG games then Dungeon Siege is a winner. I picked it up yesterday and once I started playing multi with my friend I couldnt stop. We ended up playing for 12 straight hours, and it was a blast. We both decided to be midgets which was quite fun being the killer dwarfs from hell :D Another few good things about this game is it doesnt run at a very high res, so those with not so fast comps can still play and enjoy it as I do. Also the entire game is basically point and click so its VERY easy to jump in and learn to play right off the bat. This is the very first game I have gotten in a long time that i played for that long of a time without getting bored. I have played everything from Max Payne to RTCW and this by far has been the most fun for me in a long while. So talke my advice and grab a copy of this game you wont be sorry.

You can play single player.

It's ok. The thing I don't like is the Diablo-esque inventory maintenance.

I never played Diablo so this is my first RPG game. The inventory thing works well do you not like it, or just the fact its like Diablo? What kind of inventory is good I am just curious for any RPG games I might get down the road?

good game... too bad the character editor is out already to ruin the multiplayer experience....

I prefer the inventory system in Asheron's Call. 1 item per slot instead of each item taking up slots based on it's size.

The nice thing about Dungeon Siege is that it has an auto-arrange function that Diable didn't have.

It's probably not a big deal, but I think it detracts from the game play because you spend to much time arranging your packs.

Love RPG's, especially the D&D one's. I can't wait for NeverWinter Nights (pre-ordered from Amazon). In college, I was friends with a group (of guys) who were pen an paper AD&D players. Had a ball. Played thru Baldurs Gate also.

Problem, i never could get into playing alone. I like the NWN idea of private servers.

Everyone who has an imagination plays RPGs. The people who I feel sorry for are those who cannot stop playing.
Also those people who want to be characters in their RPGs. Such lame lives they lead.

Anywho, RPGs are great.
