Yea, some can be good, but others can be crap.

Sometimes a thread just cries out to be parodied, though, so often it's not even really a matter of good or bad. The parody is just essential.

It seems that maybe 1 out of every 200 parodies are actually funny. The rest are a waste of bandwidth.

I like parodies, a lot of them are funny. However, the replies to them are usuasally just pointless nef++ posts.

The best ones are the ones that I don't realize are parodies when I first read them.
