A LOT LESS!!!

I have no respect for anyone who's been here less time than myself but has more posts.

Ah, well worth a try.

maybe it just seems like baiting? i dunno. maybe he's just that controversial in his point of view and feels the right to express his controversial opinion.

i dunno, man, i just figure if it's so controversial that you're just like, "wow, wtf? i've gotta respond to this idiot," don't. or maybe do and try to figure out why he feels the way he feels about something, but then just let it go...

i dunno. i guess i'm just trying to harbor some peace lol

I'm always happy to explain my points of view on subjects, I'm not trying to offend or upset, and I'm in title to my opinion, so I don't get the hate.

Who are you and what attributes do you have that are noteworthy and/or worth a friendship/relationship?

I don't troll. I do report people who break the rules.
Don't you think that it's hypocritical to do so after putting so much effort into getting them riled in the first place?

And, you know, there's a specific word for the nearly 15k post's worth of said effort that you've invested into pissing people off on this forum. It's called trolling.

The problem with that assessment is that you think I have some interest in getting people riled up, I don't. People do that on their own because of my posts, I don't try to upset people.

So he is free to post his opinions and I should live and let live but if I don't like them I shouldn't post? Go fuck yourself. I'll post what I want.

i'm just saying if it bothers you so much, why waste your energy and frustration and potentially say something that'll get you banned? obviously, nothing you say will set him off, so what's the point? you're only gonna hurt yourself.

i'm all for people posting their opinions, but when it gets to the point where your opinions are going to break forum rules, why post them?

ultimately, you can do what you want. i'm not telling you what to do. i'm just trying to suggest an alternative to getting worked up and potentially banned over some kid's opinions from all the way across the atlantic. seems pretty silly.

by the way, isn't there an ignore function in these forums? i woulda sworn there was the option to ignore certain people in your settings.

The nonstop spam indicates otherwise.

I too have a degree in philosophy, but I find that a majority of people are repulsive. Why didn't you ask about me if you find people fascinating?

All of this, I'm constantly telling people "add me to your ignore list if I irritate you, don't waste your time insulting me as it just causes problems for you"

It's a good question, sorry I should have. Tell me 4 interesting things about you. Why did you choose philosophy? I don't find people repulsive, people are amazing, everyone is amazing and interesting in some way if you look, I also adore psychology.

It doesn't work very well when the ignored user posts in every thread, derails it and then you're forced to read post after post from other users responding to the troll.

i think i remember a thread where hal said that he felt that women who had an abortion should be put to death or something. pretty controversial... i asked him to explain his opinion, did a point-counterpoint thing for a second, then moved on because i didn't care to discuss it anymore. i wasn't gonna change his mind or anything, so why waste my time?

doesn't mean it's worth my energy to dislike him.

I don't think I said that, I probably said something more along the lines of I'd be ok if one woman died so that three babies weren't aborted or something like that.

I don't know the real person behind HAL9000 aka Neckarb. Just stop making useless threads/trolling. There are better things to do than posting 58/day or answering every post in each thread, very annoying.

People here are just taking things too serious and forget there are more important things outside this forum. I don't like how you are conducting yourself ATOTwise. This also applies to some other members here whose daily lives revolve around wasting valuable time here. There's a world out there. I miss the old ATOT a lot, it's just not the same anymore. Just my $0.02. :hmm:
