Do you like gore?

I like it when I'm not eating something, especially meats, of course. I think I'm considered crazy, but who cares. Sometimes I watch gore videos, look at gore pictures on reddit and laugh or start thinking about the possible stories behind incidents and accidents. It's eye-opening to see something people usually don't see in real life, or have one of you?

Some people must watch them, because people obviously make them.

But - what the fuck?

Real shit? Absolutely disgusting. Will turn away. Think: Mexican cartel chainsaw decapitations, Ukraine maniacs, 2 girls 1 cup, etc.

Movie gore? Like: District 9, Walking Dead, Expendables, etc....... yeah this stuff is fun. Elysium gore was awesome......:D

This is more real bloody gore than anyone can possibly handle. Which is why he runs away from it.

I watched a man get decapitated via knife while still alive, all while I was eating dinner, too. Was intrigued at how long the decapitation took. There was a cut in the video because the video would have been >10 minutes of the same motion if they didn't.

Don't really care for gore. The only really gory film I have seen was Day Of The Dead. Fucking disgusting it was. Never seen Texas Chain Saw Massacre or Saw and never want to. I seen a guy blow his brains out in front of me at the store and I don't need to see shit like that on TV.

For some reason there seems to be a fascination with gory movies. I don't really know why. Perhaps it's the horror in it all. These same people who have seen the shit I've seen would just all gasp in horror. Life changing events change a person.

I don't mind it. Movie gore isn't really gore though, it's a movie. Because of my occupations I guess it really doesn't affect me like other people.

NSFW - www.liveleak.com is an interesting place to visit. That site gets very graphic.

Don't really care for it... I've seen my share working as a police officer and most of it you never forget. Especially the smell

I initially assumed the OP meant movie gore only... why on earth would someone want to watch the real thing in this respect?

The OP's question reminded me of a (IIRC) 'redneck fails' compilation video on YT (which I think has now been removed) which included a guy swinging a running chainsaw by its cable around over his head. I watched that one in horror (and hope that I wasn't about to see the chainsaw drop on him), thinking "is anyone really this stupid?".

Not really. I will sometimes watch something on liveleak or uncensored news pics, more or less because I feel it's important to not entirely detach myself from the depravity and vulnerability of humanity (we live in a very sterilized world), but actively going out to seek this stuff is probably not a healthy habit.

It doesn't freak me out or anything if I see it in an uncensored news story/liveleak, but I get absolutely no enjoyment from it and would never seek it out/rewatch the video etc. I've wondered who those people are that actually like that stuff and why...

have you ever used a chainsaw? the chain isn't spinning unless you are pressing a button on the rear and holding the trigger. if it's turned on and he is spinning it above his head by the cable, it isn't actually spinning and wouldn't actually slice him in half if it hit him. sure it would hurt like shit because it's still sharp and it isn't goign to just saw right through him.
