no. i think the cookies suck ass and are expensive for what you get.
The mint ones are okay, but they are VERY expensive for the package size. And the girls who do the work get a very small percentage of the money. Most of it goes to the manufacturer, advertising and the the Girl Scouts higher ups.
yeah.
The girls get $.50 per box sold. Even then they changed the rules on the troops amount last year and i'm not 100% sure how much the troop itself gets.
Used to be the troop got the money then sent in what counsel gets. now you send EVERYTHING to counsel and they decide how your troop gets. Think they base it on size of troop now.
not sure how it is now. just remember the Troop leader (she quite because of all the BS they are doing) said it hurt them.
somoas and thin mints all the way. those things own.
how much are they now a days? last time i bought any of these was back when my sister was a girl scout like 15+ years ago. it was $2.50 per box. i remember thin mints had like 40 cookies in the box too (2 stacks of 20) and the samoas only had like 13 or so cookies in the pack.

Yup. These were the only ones I would wait all year to buy, now I don't have to!I like Samoas the most. Although you can buy them anytime; Keebler sells them under the brand name "Coconut Dreams."
Try this some time:
Step 1: Take thin mints, put them in the freezer.
Step 2: Take frozen thin mints and dice/crush into semi-large pieces (not powder - which is why freezing them helps, if you try to crush while warm they just crumble into dust).
Step 3: Add Thin Mint Chunks to bowl of plain chocolate ice cream.
Step 4: Enjoy godly deliciousness.
