Just cover them with your hands until they are adjusted to the water temp.

for women. i have no patience for bath... even after some hard strneous activity when my body's beat, and i go into my whirlpool tub... i feel like i should be doing something. i prefer a quick shower, and then crashing on the couch feeling fresh, than crashing in the tub. maybe if the tub was ergo and i had a LCD tv built flush into the walls...

I'm pretty much set in my ways on this one.
The hotter the bath... the better. Just not for staff seargant Peter and the cherry berries..
