I laugh my ass off at the morons around here who drive around with "super-thumper" stereos in their cars...and the cars rattle because of the loose spot-welds, screws, etc.

That's one thing I don't get, just what does it sound like inside the car when these guys get these systems? I recently got a modest 12 inch cheapy sub installed because I wanted a bit more bass in my stock system. It now has way more bass capability than I will ever use and sounds like it should be annoyingly loud outside the car when I turn it up, but outside the car I don't really hear anything. I would think when those guys have those super thumper bass sound systems that they must not be hearing any actual music inside the car. They probably can't hear anything over the sound of their mouth-breathing though...
