Do you like 80's music?

I'm a pretty big retro 80's fan even though I was born in 85. I'm a big Tears for Fears fan along with Culture Club, Howard Jones, and Nine Inch Nails (1989). Those are my two bits. My one friend hates 80's music because it has too many synthesizers but I personally like the sounds computers can make.

have a whole collection of 80's music on my comp, gotta love the one hit wonders of the 80's

i might just listen to some of them now 🙂

i was born in '66

so yes, during the eighties i went from 13 years old to 23 , prime music listening time

hair bands !!!

Most definitely not.

A guy at work grew up and graduated in the 80's and he's the biggest axe music fan I've seen. 20 years later and he still constantly listens to Van Halen and Jimmy Page.

I think the music was the only thing good that came out of the 80's. I mean think about it, the cars weren't reliable, technology mostly blew, fashion was horrifying, but I guess the movies were okay.

The '80s produced some excellent music, and much of it will be lost on today's Avril Lavigne/Eminem worshipping public.

Me to. 😀

80's music is now retro. God I feel old. Better put myself down. 😉

two of my favorite bands are The Cars and Talking Heads. While both technically 70s bands, they are 80s style music 🙂

Another favorite band is The Pixies, which is a late 80s band.

80's music was probably the most consistently tuneful and catchy pop music of any decade. 90's pop music literally blew, and the 70's wasn't all too great either.

yes and theres one song i cant figure out the name of that i want to get. i dunno if u guys have seen the nissan shift commercial for the murano, but whats that song they play on the jukebox? im not sure its 80s but sounds close.

Eh, I'm not gonna rule out a whole decade of one music. But, the "new wave" sh!t or whatever you call it, for the most part I do not like.

Yup! DM, New Order, OMD, Tears for Fears, Alphaville, China Crisis, Modern Talking, etc...

I loved "New Wave". I wonder what they call it now? Old Wave?

Yes but only

Iron Maiden, KISS, Metallica (81-88), Anthrax, Slayer, CC, and other metal bands from 80's.
